SOP Ownership Assignment and Succession
Governs how every SOP is assigned a named owner, and how ownership formally transfers when that person changes roles, leaves, or is reorganized.
Why This Matters
An SOP with no living owner is an orphan — nobody notices when it goes stale, and nobody defends it when it's challenged. Ownership succession keeps every standard accountable to a real person, not a department name that means nothing when someone asks who to call.

You’re viewing the public overview. This standard is on the property plan, Company Vault: it opens for everyone on a subscribed property. Sign in with a property account to continue with the step-by-step procedure, decision points, escalation path, and Leadership Lens.
Company Vault is bought for a property, not a person, and every team member on it reads the 98 property-plan standards. A free account and the monthly unlock do not open them.
