Why This Matters
A new hire's first day sets their entire trajectory with the property — a rushed or inconsistent tour teaches that standards are optional from hour one. This is also the first opportunity to establish safety locations and reporting lines before an associate is ever alone on the floor. A consistent tour protects both the new hire's safety and the culture they will carry forward.
