Folio Zero-Balance Verification Before Close
Requires the auditor to confirm every non-departed, non-direct-bill folio nets to a verified, expected balance before the audit run is permitted to close.
Why This Matters
A folio that does not balance is either a posting error waiting to surprise a guest or revenue quietly slipping through a gap. Checking it before close, rather than discovering it days later, is the difference between a five-minute fix and a disputed charge on a departed guest's card. This gate exists so the morning team inherits clean numbers, not a mystery.
