Denial, Regret, and Unconstrained Demand Tracking
Establishes how turned-away demand is captured, categorized, and used to estimate true unconstrained demand for pricing and capacity decisions.
Why This Matters
The PMS records only the demand the property accepted; the demand it refused is where pricing power hides. A sold-out night with 80 logged denials argues for a very different strategy next year than a sold-out night with three. Without turnaway data, every constraint decision is made half-blind.
