Why This Matters

A complaint at the table is a gift with a countdown timer. Guests who watch their problem travel up a chain of command learn that the front line is powerless, and they aim higher next time or simply never return. HIG's standard is recovery at the table: fix first, gesture within authority, log with a reason code, because a recovered guest is more loyal than one who never had a problem.
